Responsible gaming tools at a glance

Every account has a set of self-applied controls. They're free to turn on, can't be loosened on a whim, and are enforced server-side so they apply across every device and the API.

All settings live under Settings → Responsible Gaming in the app.

Loosening vs tightening

We let you tighten any limit immediately. Loosening a limit takes effect after a delay — typically 24 to 48 hours, with longer windows for some controls. The delay exists so the decision to ease up is made calmly, not in the middle of a session.

This applies to deposit limits, loss limits, and wager limits. It does not apply to session timeout (you can change it freely) and does not apply to extending cooling-off / self-exclusion (those only go one way).

How limits are enforced

Limits are enforced server-side, not just in the UI. Trades placed through the API obey the same caps. There's no path around them.

Hitting a limit blocks new orders. Existing positions continue to exist; you can sell them, claim them after resolution, and withdraw free balance.

When limits hit

If you try to place an order that would breach a limit, the trading panel blocks it with a clear message — e.g., "This order would put your daily loss above $X". Adjust the order or wait for the period to roll over.

If gambling becomes a problem

The tools above can help. If they're not enough, please reach out to a problem-gambling helpline in your country. The Settings → Responsible Gaming page links to relevant resources for your region.

You can stop trading entirely through self-exclusion — see Self-exclusion.
