Claiming your winnings
Once a market is resolved, your winning positions are claimable. The Claim button appears next to each one on the Portfolio page.
How to claim
- Open the Portfolio page (top-right wallet menu → Portfolio).
- Find the resolved position. It shows a Won badge and the total winnings.
- Click Claim. Your wallet asks you to sign a redeem transaction.
- Sign. The on-chain redemption converts your outcome tokens into USDC at $1 per share.
The USDC arrives in your free balance within a few seconds.
Claim-all banner
If multiple winning positions are claimable, a Claim All banner appears at the top of the Portfolio page. One signature redeems every eligible position in a single batched transaction — cheaper than claiming each one separately.
Same-wallet rule
Claims must be signed by the same wallet that placed the original trade. If you placed orders from MetaMask and now connect Coinbase Wallet, the Claim button won't appear. Switch back to the wallet that holds the position.
This is a property of the on-chain contract — not a 4rho rule we can override.
Time limit
There isn't one. Resolved positions stay claimable indefinitely. If you can't claim immediately (e.g., you're traveling and out of POL for gas), it'll wait.
What if a market resolves while I'm not looking?
You don't lose anything. The Portfolio page shows resolved positions with the Claim button next time you open it. We also send a notification if you have notifications enabled (Settings → Notifications).
Common stumbles
- Can't see the Claim button — the market may not be resolved yet (it might be in the timelock window). Open the market page to check the resolution status.
- Insufficient gas — claims are on-chain transactions and cost a tiny POL fee. See Gas fees and POL.
- Wrong wallet — connect the wallet that signed the original order. See I won but can't claim.
What about losing positions?
Nothing to do. Losing outcome tokens are worth $0 each. They stay in your wallet (technically) but don't show in the active portfolio view. They have no further effect on your balance.
