Cash out
How to convert USDC back to fiat and send it to your bank.
Through Coinbase (in-app)
From the wallet menu, tap Cash out.
- Enter the USDC amount you want to convert.
- Coinbase shows the fiat amount and any conversion fee.
- Confirm. USDC moves from your Polygon wallet to Coinbase.
- Coinbase deposits the fiat into the bank account linked to your Coinbase account, typically within 1–3 business days.
You'll need a Coinbase account with at least one verified payment method linked. If you don't have one, the in-app flow walks you through sign-up.
Sending USDC out instead
If you want to keep the USDC (e.g., to move to another exchange), use Send USDC instead.
What about funds locked in orders?
Cash-out, send, and any other withdrawal automatically de-reserves funds from open BUY orders if needed. Specifically, 4rho will cancel the necessary number of open orders so the requested amount becomes available. You don't have to manually cancel orders first.
This does not apply to bonus credits locked by a withdrawal-rollover gate — see Rollover and withdrawal locks.
Fees
4rho charges nothing for cashing out. Coinbase applies its standard conversion + payout fee, shown before you confirm.
Common stumbles
- "Cash out" only completes when both the on-chain transfer and the Coinbase payout finish. The on-chain step is usually under a minute; the bank deposit follows ACH/SEPA timing.
- If you signed in to 4rho with a different email than your Coinbase account, Coinbase will ask you to log in to Coinbase separately during the cash-out flow.
- Cash-out history shows up on the Fund movements tab of your portfolio, labelled "Cash Out".
