Linking an email address
A linked email lets you sign in to the same 4rho account from a new device, and gives us a way to reach you about your account — security events, market resolutions, and important platform notices.
Why link one
- Cross-device sign-in. Without a linked email, signing in from a new device starts a new account.
- Security alerts. New-device sign-ins, MFA changes, and unusual withdrawals trigger an email if one is linked.
- Recovery. If you ever lose access to your wallet, a linked email is the most reliable way for support to verify your identity.
How to link
- Open Settings → Account.
- Find the Linked email section.
- Enter the email address.
- Check the inbox. We send a one-time verification link.
- Click the link to confirm.
Linking doesn't change your wallet, your address, or your balance. It just adds an email handle to the account record.
Unlinking or changing
Same place. Unlink any time; you'll lose the corresponding cross- device sign-in convenience.
To change the email, unlink the old one and link a new one. We don't store an email change history; the new email replaces the old one in account record.
Email is not your wallet
Linking an email does not create or change a wallet. It's purely a reachability and authentication-recovery handle. Your USDC and positions live in your wallet, identified by its on-chain address.
We don't sell or share your email
The linked email is only used for:
- Account security and operational notices.
- Optional product updates (you can opt out in Settings → Notifications).
It is never sold, never shared with marketing partners, and never used for unrelated mailings.
